Here you will find information on the Reiki healing method, as well as Nora and George, two of the founding members and practitioners of the Usui Spiritual Lernejo School. They are dedicated to helping others through the practice of Reiki healing and currently reside in Playa Coronado, Panama. They offer authentic Reiki treatments, having learned directly from Japanese Reiki Masters in Japan. What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of alternative healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It is a holistic and gentle approach to healing that enriches the mind, body, and spirit.
It can aid in a wide range of physical and emotional conditions, including chronic and acute illnesses, anxiety, and depression. It can improve your sleep, boost your immune system, and decrease stress levels, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. During a Reiki session, the practitioner transfers energy through their hands to the patient, promoting healing and balance within the body.
At the Usui Spiritual Lernejo School, we strive to preserve the traditional, original Japanese Reiki method. Our teachers have traveled to Japan multiple times to learn directly from Japanese Reiki Masters. We are honored to be able to practice these authentic techniques.
What is Jinjutsu?
In our school, we have introduced the concept of Jinjutsu 仁術, which translates to “the art of healing” in classical Japanese. Only those who have completed all necessary levels and received a certain level of certification are able to offer healing sessions.
Traditional Japanese Reiki places a strong emphasis on spiritual development and self-improvement. As a result, becoming a Jinjutsu healer is a lengthy and dedicated process that involves purifying the body, soul, and spirit. The continuous process of cleansing emotions and thoughts allows for a clear and open channel for energy to flow through. It’s a journey that takes years of practice and is always ongoing.
Our healers at Usui Spiritual Lernejo are committed to providing clients with the highest level of care and dedication to their healing journey. It is an honor to be a part of someone’s journey towards healing and overall wellness.
Nora attended her first Reiki training session in 2008 and has been practicing Reiki every day since then. She started treating patients alongside other healers in 2009 and later independently as well. In 2012, she became the healer responsible for the Jinjutsu Dojo in Budapest, Hungary. After moving away from Hungary in 2014, she lived in Thailand and Bali, Indonesia before settling in Panama where she currently resides. In 2016, she accompanied George on his fourth trip to Japan where she became a certified Reiki master at a Japanese Reiki school. For Nora, Reiki is a spiritual journey that never ends, and she believes that by gradually becoming a clearer channel of the healing energy each day, she can help more people. Her passion for practicing Reiki stems from experiencing its positive effects firsthand, and she is grateful to have the opportunity to share it with others.
George has been practicing Reiki since 1994, when he was first introduced to the Usui Shiki Ryoho system. He has been treating patients as a professional healer since 1996. During his first trip to Japan in 2008, he was introduced to the original Usui method, Usui Reiki Ryoho, and learned it from Japanese teachers. Upon his return, he began using the method on patients and gradually incorporated more practices over time. He shared what he had learned and practiced together with his fellow practitioners who were interested in returning to the roots. The original Japanese system uses a completely different approach, which produced visible results. Since then, he has returned to Japan three more times to practice the original method. He became a certified Reiki master at a Japanese Reiki school in 2014. His life is dedicated to helping others, and he is very grateful for his wonderful students.
